artist's I like : APAK

APAK are Aaron and Ayumi, a husband and wife art making team!
If thats not cute enough, check out their art!

I have been a fan for a while, and I love the next piece more than the last it seems.
There is something about their work that draws me in a personal way.

A lot of their pieces remind me of dreams Ive had.
Like this one titled "pools of light".

I would have dreams of a garden surrounding a natural pool.
The flowers and plants of the garden looked like  crystals, and they glowed a blue light.
its one of  my most favorite dreams. I havent dreamt of it in a while, but looking at this piece reminds me of it.

this is another favorite of mine
A piece they did for Gallery 1988's Crazy 4 Cult.
"goodbye loompa land"

too cute!

J.G

one night I dreamt that I found you sitting on the edge of the world
and I asked "so where have you been?" I cant recall what you said..but now I do.
and I should have known, cause I was there too.

I'll be seeing you later friend.
my love goes with you

thinking of you

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

he goes uphill
I wish that I could follow after him
he goes uphill
Please let him be safe there, across the way
I love that boy I say
i love him all the day

my dear friend

Look for me as you go by.

Hang my head low, so low.
Every burden shall be lifted.
Every stone upon your back slide into the sea.
It's me for you and you for me.

My Blackbird

after doing my little "Birdless" series, I realized there was one bird who I never noticed before.

Not because he was unrecognizable, more like he blended into the darkness. Always there to add light, and a song whenever Im in there. Where once I was alone, and capable of wondering too far off.
Unexpected, and surprising. This little bird brings out the best in me.
